I think the title says it all, but for emphasis: WELCOME TO MY FIRST BLOG POST! I am so happy to have you. Please, sit down, grab some popcorn, and get comfortable.
I wanted to jump right in, however, I felt that it was important for my first piece of writing to be an introductory post. This way, hopefully, you can understand a little bit more about the person behind the screen. I guess I should start by introducing myself.
My name is Kennedy! I am currently a recent graduate (Class of 2020, whoop whoop!) from the University of Oklahoma. I have lived in Texas my entire life and will soon be moving to the New York area for work. I studied Marketing and Psychology in school and received my Bachelor of Business Administration which has prepared me to start my full-time corporate job in Talent Acquisition in September.
Why Am I Blogging?
So why am I here? And a better question that you are probably asking yourself if you are still reading is, why are you here?
I have always wanted to start a blog but I have been hesitant for reasons that I should not have let delay me for this long. But I am here, and I feel that I am finally in a place where I can add something of substance and share my experiences. I am continuously learning and growing and my hope is that this blog will allow me to expand my own knowledge and if I can help one person along the way then I will be more than satisfied.

I will be honest, I am not a writer. My writing is very similar to the way that I speak and as I continue to find my voice, it might continue to change. All that to say: please bear with me, this will be a learning experience for us all.
What You Can Expect to See
As much as I would love to lay out a clear cut vision for my blog, I am still trying to narrow in on my niche. However, as a recent college student entering the workforce, I hope to speak on my life experiences and the successes (and lessons) that have gotten me to where I am right now. I plan to add a mix of professional growth, lifestyle, transitioning into the corporate world, and more!
